Understanding the safety performance of plugs and sockets

Understand the safety performance of plugs and sockets. When purchasing and using, keep the following points in mind to ensure the safety of your family and property:
1. Choose: Select products from regular shopping malls, supermarkets, or specialty stores; choose branded products. Select the appropriate (matching) products based on the power of the appliances used, for example: air conditioners and high-power shower heads should use 16A plugs and sockets, while other low-power appliances can use 10A plugs and sockets.
2. Look: Check if the product labels are complete and if there is a CCC certification mark.
3. Check: Review the certificate of conformity and the inspection report issued by the legal department. If converter products are not included in mandatory certification, check the inspection report issued by the legal inspection agency when purchasing.
4. Test: Conduct a simple insertion test. The plug should make good contact with the socket after insertion, with no feeling of looseness, and it should be easy to pull out without much force.
5. Note: Do not purchase plugs with rotating pins or artificially change the shape of the plug; do not use two high-power appliances on one socket at the same time; if the temperature of the plug, socket, or power cord is too high or sparks occur, stop using and replace them. Choose manufacturers with certification.
